5 FAST FACTS ABOUT DORRIE RODGERS AND GUNTHER QUILL

In honor of my new release, I have asked my heroine and her dubious friend to give me five fast facts about them. Here they are:
 DORRIE RODGERS
1) I started ballet when I was five.
2) My favorite color is light turquoise, it goes best with my auburn hair.
3) I love classical music most, then Broadway show tunes.
4) I adore the beach, but a cozy mountain cabin with the right man turns me on.
5) Favorite candy? Cinnamon Mike & Ike, and don't tell anyone!

GUNTHER QUILL
1) I like to dress up in a tuxedo for premieres. I'm probably the only guy there who's actually comfortable!
2) My favorite drink is a dry martini.
3) I like blondes, brunettes and redheads, the hotter the better. Sorry, guess that's no secret!
4) I love steak.
5) My guilty pleasure? Can't say here as this is PG-13 rated, but how about sharing a bathtub with a beautiful woman, a bottle of rare wine and perfect strawberries covered in chocolate?
A Bit About the Book

Questioning her decision to leave each of three men five years ago, Dorrie returns for one more day with them. Was she hasty in her decisions?  Will her return to the past bring the love she seeks or will loneliness propel her back into the arms of the one man who broke her heart?
A Steamy Tidbit

“Oh, God, Rick,” she muttered into his mouth. He backed her slowly toward the bed. When the edge hit the backs of her knees, they bent, throwing her on her butt. He lost his balance and tumbled on top of her. They laughed as he quickly rolled off her, grabbing her and pulling her on top of him. Pushing up on her hands, she stared down at him.
“I’ve missed you,” he whispered.

Have I missed him? Oh yeah. Dorrie shut off her mind and focused on her body. Their positions gave his hands freedom. He pulled up her skirt and slipped his fingers under the elastic of her bikinis. They closed over the bare flesh of her rear end, holding her firmly against him.

She arched her back and pushed all the way up on her arms. His gaze dropped to the lacing of her bodice. Raising his head, his teeth were able to tug on the cord holding it together. He yanked a few times until the bow came undone.

Pressure from her breasts spread the soft material, allowing them to spring free from the fabric. He bent to kiss them then flipped her over and went to work on her dress. He spread the lacing and opened the bodice. When her tempting breasts were completely bared for his view, he let out a breath.

SWEET SATURDAY SAMPLE - MOVIE LOVERS

Welcome! Here's a sweet tidbit from my newest release in the Hollywood Hearts series, MOVIE LOVERS. It's 3 a.m. on Christmas. Jake, blanket wrapped around his waist, and Grace in her robe are watching the snow fall in the living room of her sister's apartment.
“You miss your mom, don’t you?”
She tore her gaze from his body and rested it on his face as she gave a brief nod in answer to his question. “She tried so hard to make it up to us for being a one-parent family. She was like having two parents. Holidays were special times. We all stopped working to play together.”
"You worked as a kid?”
“Yep. Mama’s helper at thirteen. Babysitting when I was fourteen.”
“Me, too. First delivering papers at eleven, then in my dad’s auto shop.”
“You know car repair?”
“Like the back of my hand. When I graduated high school, my dad wanted me to join him.”
“Is he disappointed you didn’t?”
“Not anymore. Since I’ve made a couple of movies. But he was at first. We didn’t speak for a while.”
Gracie touched his shoulder, ignoring the sizzle that leapt into her body at the contact with his skin.
 A bit about the book:

Can revenge turn to regret? Humiliated by a slick producer and her sister’s co-star, Grace plots payback. But the scheme turns sour, robbing Grace of the only happiness she’s known since the death of her beloved mother. Can she regain her self-respect and the respect of the man she loves?

Grace Brewster couldn’t control her breathing. Alone with Gunther Quill. Little me with one of the biggest producers in Hollywood. He leaned against the corner of his desk. The sleeves of his white shirt were rolled up to the elbows, the neck, unbuttoned. His light blue striped tie hung loose. Grace noticed his perfect haircut and the whitest smile she’d ever seen. Brown hair going gorgeously gray at the temples and broad shoulders drew her attention.

No wedding ring. No family pictures on his desk or credenza. He’s sex on wheels.

His dark brown eyes feasted on her body, not missing one curve or her dangerously low-cut top. Suddenly feeling naked, Grace leaned back a little in her chair, folding her arms across her breasts. Her rich brown curls fell loosely about her shoulders. She blinked at him with the same big, ocean blues as her sister, famous actress Cara Brewster.
“Tell me a little about your script, Ms. Brewster. Does it have a love scene?”
She gulped, her mouth dry as day-old bread. “Of course.”
“Tell me…no, no. Show me.” His eyes danced as he strolled closer to her.
“Show you?” Her palms began to sweat as she rose slowly from her chair. “How?”

A quick "thank you" to our forefathers for making the Unites States possible.

"LOVE TALK" ADORA SMUTZ -- INTERVIEW GREY ANDREWS FROM THE MARRIAGE LIST

Back by popular demand, this interview, arranged by Jean with Adora, is a fan favorite.
INTERVIEW WITH GREY ANDREWS FROM THE MARRIAGE LIST

LOVE TALK WITH ADORA SMUTZ
We are joined by my gorgeous, sexy cousin, Ima Slutz, today. She’ll be subbing for me when I go on vacation with one of Jean’s sexy heroes. She’s here to learn the ropes. Today we will be interviewing that devastating man, hero of “The Marriage List”, Grey Andrews!
Adora: Good morning, Grey, how are you?
Grey:   Fine, Adora. You’re looking good for such an early hour. *gaze sweeps over her body*
Adora: Thank you, Grey. *bats eyes*, hey, are you free for a week in February to go to one of those “bathing suit” optional beaches with me?
Grey:   I don’t think Carrie would approve, Adora, do you?
Adora: Who cares what she thinks? All right, Ima, on to the interview. So, I hear you’ve been screwing everything in sight, supposedly looking for a wife. *guffaws behind hand*, yeah right.
Grey: *blushes* I don’t know about the screwing around thing, but I have been looking for a wife. (Grey nervously loosens his tie.)

Adora: Why would a gorgeous rich guy like you want to get married when you could make it with any woman you want?
Grey: Adora! I thought I was supposed to talk about the book, The Marriage List.
Adora: We are…but doing it my way. So give, Grey. What’s up with this stupid list thing, anyway?
Grey: Well, I saw how unhappy my buddies were and so I…
Adora: BORING! Come on, Grey, you’re deep-sixing the whole interview here. Get to the good stuff. How many woman do you think you’ve actually slept with on your marriage “quest.”
Grey: *turns redder*, I’ve lost count, I think…
Adora: Come on! We all know every guy keeps a tally. Is it in the hundreds? The thousands?
Grey: WHAT? Hey, what’s going on here? Where’s Jean.
Adora: She’s off working on a new book in the Hollywood Hearts series. So tell me…are you as good in bed as they say?
Grey: *face turning almost purple*, JEEEAAAANNNN!!!!
Adora: Do you scream like that in bed. God, you’re a good-looking guy, Grey. Why settle for Carrie when you can have me and maybe Ima, here?
Grey: Where is Jean? I’m going to kill her.
Adora: A “quickie” with Grey Andrews is all we have time for today. Hope you all have a happy and healthy New Year and come back every week for more “Love Talk,” with me, Adora Smutz!
Grey: Wait! Adora! Let me talk about the book…about Carrie, how beautiful and smart she is…
Adora: Let’s continue here in my dressing room, Grey. Now what were you saying…
Ima: This is Ima Slutz, signing off for LOVE TALK!

A bit about the book

Can happily ever after start with a list? Grey Andrews thinks so. After ten years of working, saving and investing, Grey finally achieved a level of wealth that allows him to do what he wants with his life. He needs a woman to share it with, but not any woman, the perfect woman. A woman who has the three essential qualities on his marriage list. But after three years of searching he isn’t any closer to finding her than he was when he started out.
Carrie Tucker, an aspiring mystery writer and divorcée struggling to make it in the world of advertising, turned her focus from men to her career after dating too many creeps and losers. She’s finally earned her big break, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become the first female creative director in a hot New York ad agency. So what if it means working nights and weekends? It’s not like she has a social life anyway.

SWEET SATURDAY SAMPLE OF MEMORIES OF LOVE

Welcome to my Sweet Saturday Sample from my newest contemporary romance, MEMORIES OF LOVE.
“Dreaming about her again?” His sister, Jane, had an annoying way of zeroing in on just what was on his mind, whether he wanted her to or not. Only two years younger than he, she had his dark good looks and the same sharp brain. Although they had fought like cats and dogs as children, as adults they were devoted to each other. Even more so since the deaths of their parents.

Grant didn’t answer. Didn’t have to. Jane knew because they had talked about it. Argued is more like it. He remembered the most heated flare-up which had happened while they were strolling by the Lincoln Memorial, seven years ago.
“She left you. Stop holding a torch for her!” Jane fairly screamed at him.
“Can you control your heart? I can’t. I’ve tried, and it’s no good.” He stuffed his hands in his pants pockets.
“Then try harder! This is eating you up. You’ve lost weight.”
“And you holding a torch for Jason Sumner wasn’t the same thing?”
“That was high school, Grant.”
“So? You were torn up over him for two years.” He plopped down on the grass.
She joined him. “Yeah? Well, I got wise. I haven’t been like that since.”
“You haven’t loved anyone like that since, either.” His voice softened.
“And I don’t miss it. The heartache, the drama…”
“The love. The affection.”
I’m sorry, Grant. I am. I loved her, too. Carol Anne was…is…amazing. But she’s gone, big brother, and you’ve got to get on with your life.” She put her hand on his arm and stared into his eyes.
“I am, Jane. I’m getting married.” He trained his gaze on a dandelion proudly raising its head among the green blades.
“For all the wrong reasons.”
